CAF Champions League Quarterfinals: RS Berkane and Royal Army Face Strong Challenges Against Pyramids and Al Hilal

A draw was conducted for the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the African Football Confederation in Cairo, resulting in exciting matchups that promise a lot of thrill and challenge.

In the standout matches, Al Ahly of Egypt will visit Esperance of Tunisia in what is expected to be a fiercely competitive encounter. Meanwhile, Moroccan side RS Berkane will clash with Sudan’s Al Hilal, a match that will showcase Moroccan ambition against Sudanese determination on the pitch.

In other matchups, Moroccan side Royal Army will host Egypt’s Pyramids, while Mali’s Stade Malien will pay a visit to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, completing the quarterfinal lineup.

The first leg of the matches is set to take place on March 13 and 14, with the return leg scheduled for March 20 and 21.

Semifinals and Final

According to the draw results, the winner of the Al Ahly vs. Esperance match will face the winner of the Mamelodi Sundowns vs. Stade Malien encounter in the semifinals, with the first leg taking place at the home of the highest-seeded winner. Additionally, the winner of the Royal Army vs. Pyramids match will go up against the winner of the RS Berkane vs. Al Hilal meeting.

The final will adopt a home-and-away format, with the first leg hosted by the venue of the first semifinal winner and the return leg taking place at the venue of the second semifinal winner.
