A new collection of short stories by Moroccan writer Abdelrahman Hamzaoui “El-Draiy” titled “Deferred Meeting” has been released, published by Al-Qasbah Publishing House in Agadir, under the supervision of novelist Abdelaziz Rachidi.
The collection consists of 36 stories spread over 170 pages, exploring dimensions of self and human existence, evoking themes of time, waiting, absence, and memory, alongside the complex relationship between presence and postponement. The texts are characterized by a contemplative and symbolic tone, relying on intense narrative imagery and an internal rhythm that offers the reader a rich reading experience connected with emotion and thought.
