Weather on Friday: Cold with Scattered Rain in the North
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that the weather on Friday will be relatively cold to locally cold in the mountainous regions of the Atlas, Rif, southeast of the country, high plateaus, and the northeastern areas of the desert provinces.
Low clouds are expected to form accompanied by fog or very light rain over the northern Atlantic plains, and locally in the middle Atlas mountains during the night and morning. Meanwhile, conditions will be occasionally cloudy with scattered rain in the Tangier area at night.
Moderate to strong gusts of wind are also expected locally along the Mediterranean coast and in the central and southern coastal areas.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between minus 9°C and minus 4°C in the high Atlas mountains, between minus 3°C and 2°C in the Rif, high plateaus, and southeast regions, and between 8°C and 10°C in the southern desert provinces. The remaining parts of the kingdom will see temperatures ranging between 3°C and 8°C.
During the day, temperatures are expected to drop slightly in the northern and central Atlantic plains, as well as in the desert provinces.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough along the Mediterranean coast, the Strait of Gibraltar, and along the Atlantic coast.
