Egypt and Morocco Emphasize Sports Brotherhood in Phone Call Between Sports Ministers

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mr. Mohamed Sad Barada, Morocco’s Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, and Sports, held a phone call in which both parties stressed the strength of the historical and brotherly relations between the two countries, as well as the continuation of cooperation in various fields, especially in sports and youth.

The ministers highlighted the importance of maintaining a spirit of sportsmanship within a framework of mutual respect and appreciation, asserting that sports serve as a bridge for rapprochement between nations rather than a battleground for disputes.

Sobhi noted Morocco’s success in organizing the African championship, reiterating a rejection of any acts of intolerance or insults that could affect the relations between countries or tarnish the image of Arab audiences.

For his part, Moroccan Minister Barada expressed his appreciation for the communication with the Egyptian side, emphasizing Morocco’s commitment to supporting all initiatives that reinforce Arab brotherhood and spread positive values among the youth.
