Marrakech Police Arrest Network Involved in Drug Possession and Trafficking
The police in Marrakech managed to arrest three individuals aged between 31 and 37 on Tuesday morning, December 23, on suspicion of being involved in the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychoactive substances. The suspects were apprehended in one of the city’s neighborhoods while in the act.
A search operation resulted in the seizure of 1,155 pills of the drug Rivotril, 350 grams of cocaine, along with an electronic scale and cash suspected to be proceeds from criminal activities. The suspects have been placed in custody, pending an investigation overseen by the appropriate public prosecutor’s office, aimed at uncovering all circumstances surrounding the case and identifying any potential extensions of this criminal activity.
