The Minister of Interior Reminds Professionals of Registration Deadlines for Professional Electoral Rolls
The Minister of Interior has reminded professionals working in the agricultural chambers, chambers of commerce, industry and services, artisanal chambers, and fishing chambers who are not currently registered on the professional electoral rolls, and who meet the required legal conditions, to take the initiative to register their names within the legally prescribed deadlines.
The statement clarified that the individuals concerned are professionals aged at least 18 solar years, or those who will reach this age by March 31, 2026. It highlighted that the legal deadline for submitting registration requests for the professional electoral rolls will end on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
The Minister of Interior urged the relevant professionals to submit their registration applications to the electoral roll of the chamber they belong to, within the specified timeframe, at the offices of the local administrative authority where they practice their professional activities.
Additionally, the statement reminded currently registered professionals in the electoral rolls of the professional chambers who wish to transfer their registration from one electoral list to another—whether it involves changing their professional category, voter body, or moving from one electoral district to another, or from one professional chamber to another—to submit their transfer requests at the offices of the competent local administrative authority.
The Minister of Interior confirmed that the final deadline for submitting transfer requests is the end of December of this year, urging the concerned individuals to adhere to the established legal deadlines to ensure their participation in the upcoming professional electoral events.
This reminder comes as part of the effort to update the professional electoral rolls and enable professionals to exercise their right to representation within the various professional chambers.
