The General Directorate of National Security continues its solidarity initiative with retired police officers through home visits.

In line with reinforcing the values of solidarity and recognizing the efforts of the men and women in national security, joint committees representing the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works for National Security Employees and regional security officials have initiated home visits to several retired police officers, particularly those suffering from chronic illnesses. This initiative is being implemented under the directives of the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance.

The first phase of this initiative covered various cities, including Tangier, Tetouan, Fez, Meknes, Oujda, Al Hoceima, Settat, Beni Mellal, Agadir, Laayoune, Errachidia, Nador, Taza, Ouarzazate, El Jadida, and Safi, with plans to extend visits soon to include other retirees nationwide.

These humanitarian visits aim to check on the health and living conditions of retired individuals who were unable to attend the annual recognition ceremonies and to rebuild communication bridges with them. Additionally, it provided an opportunity to listen to their needs and personal requests, which will be presented to the concerned parties within the General Directorate of National Security and the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works, aiming to respond to them within the legal and regulatory framework.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance to enhance a spirit of gratitude and camaraderie towards all members of the national security family, both during their professional journey and after retirement. It began with the Annual Excellence Ceremony chaired by the Director General of National Security on November 18, 2025, at the Mohammed V Theatre in Rabat, followed by honoring current and retired national security personnel and their high-achieving children, with the continuation of the effort via home visits for those who could not attend.
