The sixth edition of the National Theater Festival in Kenitra concluded on Thursday, December 25, 2025, after the completion of training workshops aimed at enhancing the theatrical skills of young participants. These workshops were originally scheduled during the festival but were postponed due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, and they were subsequently included in the final program of the event.
The festival was organized by the Development Center for Education and Training, with support from the Kenitra municipality as part of its 2025 initiatives to support association projects. The event served as a comprehensive artistic and educational platform, combining theatrical training, the celebration of cultural achievements, and an engagement with young talents, in line with the cultural and educational objectives set by the organizers.
This edition kicked off on December 13, 2025, with an opening ceremony held at the town hall, featuring a grand artistic evening that included performances by musicians, alongside comedic acts and moments of tribute, all infused with a spirit of artistic celebration. The same venue hosted additional artistic and educational segments on December 14, further enriching the festival’s cultural and educational dimensions.
With the successful completion of the postponed workshops, the festival reached its conclusion under favorable conditions, despite the organizational challenges encountered during this edition. It wrapped up successfully, paving the way for preparation for a more prominent and sustainable future edition dedicated to theater and cultural education.
