Casablanca Stock Exchange Records Slight Increase
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Monday morning with a slight increase, with its main index, “MAZ”, rising by 0.10% to reach 18,957.14 points.
The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 of the leading listed companies, grew by 0.11% to settle at 1,527.98 points, while the “MASI.ESG” index, dedicated to companies with the best sustainability ratings, decreased by 0.02% to 1,273.54 points.
Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which measures the performance of small and medium enterprises, recorded a significant increase of 0.81%, reaching 1,841.13 points.
The “MAZ” index had concluded last Friday’s session with an increase of 0.65%, reflecting continued relative investor confidence.
