The Confederation of African Football has revoked the press credentials of Tunisian journalist Hamza Ataya following his publication of misleading information about the Olympic Stadium, including claims of power outages during matches. Sources indicate that Tunisia’s Al Hiwar TV has apologized for Ataya’s reporting and announced the dispatch of another correspondent to Morocco to continue covering the tournament professionally and accurately. As of now, no official statement or clarification has been issued, although the Tunisian journalist was seen filing a television report this evening.
