Rescue of a Family in Irkloune, Azrou: Heroic Intervention by Authorities Amid Snow and Bitter Cold
Azrou – Local authorities, in a well-coordinated effort among various agencies, managed to rescue a family composed of a father, his wife, and two young daughters (6 months and one and a half years) in a remote area of Irkloune after the head of the family suffered a health crisis and faced a severe shortage of heating fuel.
Upon receiving the alert, the commander of the Irkloune sector, in coordination with the head of the Azrou district, rushed to the location with elements of the royal gendarmerie and the regional commander of civil protection. Defying the harsh weather conditions, a snowmobile was deployed to cover approximately 16 kilometers to reach the family and ensure their safe extraction.
The rescue operation lasted about three hours, during which authorities successfully transported the family to the 20 August Hospital in Azrou for necessary treatment, affirming their capability to protect citizens and ensure their safety even in the most challenging conditions.
