In the context of cultural and artistic preparations for Morocco’s hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations, Moroccan global music producer Nadir Khayat, known as “RedOne,” announced the launch of a new artistic project, comprising a special music album that accompanies this continental event and honors Moroccan cultural identity.

A press release specified that the album was designed as an artistic tribute to Morocco, featuring works that blend traditional Moroccan rhythms with modern musical styles, aiming to highlight the cultural richness of the kingdom and openness to various global cultures, in harmony with the spirit of major sports events.

This project involves numerous Moroccan and international artists, embodying artistic diversity and cultural unity. The official song list includes tracks such as “CAN Players” featuring Reema and Mohamed Ramadan, “Le Show” with Aya Star, Akon, and French Montana, in addition to “Are Different” featuring Jason Derulo and Shenseea.

The album also includes the song “Africa” featuring Akon, Wemi Alad, and French Montana, and “We Gonna Dance” featuring Ne-Yo and Moroccan artist Asmaa Lamnawar. Significant Moroccan presence is evident in tracks like “Achkid” featuring Chaimae Abdelaziz, the group “Achkain,” Muslim, and Dizzy Dros, along with the song “Almaghribia” featuring Hatim Ammor, Salma Rachid, and the band Fnayer.

Other featured works include “Marroquinos” featuring Nouaman Belhani, Manal Benchlikha, and Zouhair Bahaoui, “Marhba Bikom” with Aminux and Hind Ziyadi, as well as a second version including Mehdi Mazine and Hind Ziyadi. The album concludes with “Time for Africa” featuring Saad Lamjarred and Ankoni, and the track “Allah Al Watan, Al Malik” by RedOne.

According to the producing entity, this project reflects RedOne’s desire to enhance the global visibility of Moroccan music and build artistic bridges between Morocco and the rest of the world, while showcasing national artistic talents. The album is expected to be a significant milestone in the artistic scene accompanying the Africa Cup of Nations and will contribute to the cultural promotion of Morocco on an international level.

The album’s launch will be accompanied by a press conference that will shed light on its creation process, artistic choices, and connection to Moroccan heritage, reaffirming RedOne’s commitment to promoting Moroccan culture through globally resonant works.
