LOGINTEK: An Integrated Industrial and Logistics Zone in Morocco Contributing to Thousands of Jobs
On Tuesday, December 2, the ZENAFRIK DEVELOPPEMENT Group launched LOGINTEK, the first private and integrated industrial and logistics area in Morocco, marking a significant milestone in the industrial landscape of the Casablanca-Settat region.
LOGINTEK presents an innovative model that transcends being merely an industrial zone; it is a comprehensive system designed to meet the needs of all companies, from small and medium enterprises to the largest international groups, through advanced industrial infrastructure, cutting-edge logistical services, and unparalleled support systems, redefining the standards for industrial zones in Africa.
Spanning 123 hectares, the first phase involves investments of up to 2.3 billion dirhams, positioning it as a genuine economic catalyst that allows companies to focus on their activities without administrative or logistical hindrances.
Since its opening, LOGINTEK has successfully marketed about 50% of its area, attracting both international and regional companies from Spain, Austria, South Korea, France, Switzerland, Russia, Egypt, and Morocco, reflecting its exceptional appeal and ability to host diverse industrial activities.
LOGINTEK is located in Sidi Alaydi, in the heart of the Casablanca-Settat region, just 30 kilometers from Mohammed V International Airport and 50 kilometers from the Port of Casablanca, ensuring direct access to global markets. It is also conveniently situated near national roads, highways, and rail lines, facilitating seamless logistical operations locally and internationally.
The area includes a dry port under customs supervision, a logistics zone covering 60,000 square meters, a space dedicated to international road carriers, an innovation technopolis, and a one-stop shop for administrative procedures, ensuring all services are efficiently available in one location.
LOGINTEK features a state-of-the-art data center, a business and communications center, a multi-specialty clinic, a hotel, a shopping center, a mosque, and green spaces. It also relies on sustainable infrastructure, including modern electricity, renewable energy sources, solar stations, and a wastewater treatment facility, all designed to meet environmental standards.
LOGINTEK is expected to create between 12,000 and 15,000 direct jobs, along with indirect opportunities in subcontracting and logistics companies, enhancing regional development and increasing employability.
Support from the government and local authorities, including the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, the Settat provincial administration, and the regional investment center, has facilitated administrative procedures and investor support, establishing LOGINTEK as a pioneering model of public-private partnership.
The area has relied on pre-fabricated construction solutions from MONDE PREFA to accelerate stability for operators, with future expansions planned to enhance its position as a reference industrial hub in North Africa.
With the official opening of LOGINTEK, a new phase of development begins, affirming its status as a long-term investment in the Moroccan economy by creating an ideal environment for businesses, attracting global investments, and generating thousands of job opportunities.
