Casablanca: The Hay Mohammadi Youth Platform Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Highlights the Abilities of Young People
On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Hay Mohammadi Youth Platform, in collaboration with AMIDEAST, organized a communication and celebration event that brought together various stakeholders and institutions in an atmosphere focused on inclusion, support, and the showcasing of the capabilities of youth with disabilities.
The event was attended by the respected governor of the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi district, along with administrative figures and representatives from the private sector, underscoring the local authorities’ commitment to this demographic.
During his visit to the platform, the governor explored its various facilities and services aimed at supporting and empowering young people, whether through training, guidance, or project development, emphasizing the platform’s vital role in enabling youth and encouraging innovation and economic integration.
The visit also highlighted the achievements of several cooperatives and beneficiaries who showcased inspiring models of successful initiatives that the platform helped develop.
This event reaffirms that the integration of people with disabilities and the development of youth capabilities is a fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive growth, with the support of this community deemed a shared responsibility among public institutions, the private sector, and civil society.
