Zidane: The Support System for Companies as a Lever to Enhance Investment in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region

Khalim Zidane, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Coordination, and Evaluation of Public Policies, stated that the support system aimed at very small, small, and medium enterprises represents a fundamental new lever to enhance investment in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, enabling the local business fabric to develop its projects and increase its capacities.

Zidane made this statement while overseeing, alongside the Governor of Kénitra, Abdelhamid El Mazzine, the second phase of the regional caravan introducing this system, held in Kénitra on Friday, November 28, 2025. The event saw a wide attendance of various economic stakeholders, public institutions, the banking sector, the private sector, professional chambers, and associations, as well as many entrepreneurs and investors.

Zidane emphasized that the activation of this system will give an additional boost to the rapidly accelerating economic dynamics of the region, considered an emerging hub in the automotive, electric mobility, services, information technology, and renewable energy sectors, benefiting from modern infrastructure, skilled labor, and training pathways tailored to investors’ needs.

The General Director of the Regional Investment Center presented a detailed overview of the processes for benefiting from this new system, explaining the mechanisms for submitting applications via the digital platform CRI-Invest.ma and the support path designated for companies to obtain assistance under optimal conditions.

The meeting also featured an extensive discussion addressing the challenges faced by very small, small, and medium enterprises and ways to enhance their integration into the new system, allowing them to diversify their activities and improve their competitiveness within the regional economic framework.

The Kénitra stop is part of the regional caravans launched by the Ministry of Investment, Coordination, and Evaluation of Public Policies, which began its first phases in Rachidia on November 11, 2025, under the supervision of the Head of Government, and will continue across the various provinces and districts of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region in the coming weeks.
