In conjunction with Morocco Day celebrations, the city of Alexandria in Virginia officially announced the establishment of an annual “Morocco Day” on October 31. This date coincides with a significant commemoration for Moroccans, known as Unity Day, celebrated every October 31, marking the UN recognition of the autonomy proposal for the Western Sahara issue. During the summit, Alexandria’s mayor presented the official recognition to Mr. Mohamed Hajjam, President of the Moroccan-American Network. Virginia Summit and Call to Forge Cooperation Bridges

In this context, Mr. Mohamed Hajjam, President of the Moroccan-American Network and founder of Ivi Action (the official summit sponsor), emphasized that the network’s mission is rooted in supporting small businesses and actively contributing to building strong bridges of economic and cultural cooperation between Morocco and the United States. This summit represented a unique opportunity to enhance communication between communities and encourage partnerships led by small businesses at both local and global levels. The summit serves as an ideal platform for direct interactions between businesspeople from both countries, providing a real opportunity for small companies to expand their operations and presence in the global economic landscape.

This valuable book documents the historical journey of Morocco’s economic development and transformation from the reigns of Kings Hassan II and Mohammed VI through a collection of photographs taken since the 1980s, providing a visual link between the past and ongoing achievements.

A practical step was also officially announced to strengthen partnerships, involving a visit by an American economic delegation to the city of Dakhla in southern Morocco. This visit aims to closely explore promising investment opportunities in the city and its free investment zones.
