The Governor of the Nador Province, on Thursday morning, November 6th, presided over the national flag-raising ceremony at Hamane Fatouaki Square in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Green March. The event was marked by a majestic atmosphere that reflected pride in national belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its symbols.
The ceremony was attended by military and civil authorities, elected officials, representatives of external services, and various social and civil entities. The event included symbolic moments expressing the deep connection of Moroccans to this national epic, crafted under the late King Hassan II, may he rest in peace, which peacefully and civilly restored Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern regions.
The occasion featured a field display by a unit from the Auxiliary Forces, which performed the national salute in a scene that illustrated national spirit and unwavering loyalty to the country’s symbols.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to standing behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah grant him victory and support, to continue the path of construction and development and to safeguard the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, in loyalty to the values of genuine patriotism and the steadfast bond between the throne and the people.
