The Casablanca Stock Exchange Begins Trading with a Decline

Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading today, Monday, with a decline, as its main index “MASI” dropped by 0.51 percent, settling at 19,169.7 points.

The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, also saw a decrease of 0.52 percent to 1,564.1 points, while the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with the best ratings, lost 0.12 percent, falling to 1,298.7 points.

Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized listed enterprises, declined by 0.58 percent to 1,856.93 points.

The “MASI” index ended trading last Friday with a loss of 0.71 percent.
