The Public Prosecutor in Casablanca announces the results of the investigation into the death of citizen Sion Shimon Asdoun.
The Public Prosecutor’s office at the Casablanca Court of Appeal has announced the results of the medical investigation into the death of citizen Sion Shimon Harim Brokh Asdoun, who was previously found unconscious inside his home and later died in the hospital.
According to a statement from the Public Prosecutor, the judicial police were instructed to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident on August 19, 2025, at which point preliminary results were made public.
The statement specified that on November 7, 2025, upon being notified of the individual’s death, the Public Prosecutor ordered a three-member medical committee of forensic specialists to conduct a comprehensive autopsy on the body to determine the true causes of death.
The autopsy results indicated that the death was due to septic complications from a head injury, which caused bleeding in the brain membranes, brain contusions, and a skull fracture. The data suggested that these injuries likely resulted from an accidental fall while the deceased was trimming his garden.
The statement confirmed that these findings align with the preliminary data concluded from the investigation, noting that the Public Prosecutor will take appropriate legal action once the investigations are fully completed.
