Morocco is set to showcase its rich heritage in the world of horses and traditional horsemanship as it participates as a guest of honor in the upcoming edition of the Fieracavalli exhibition in Verona, Italy. This international event, the foremost in equestrian matters, celebrates its 127th edition this year.

Morocco’s invitation underscores its prominent position in the global equestrian field, reflecting deep expertise in horse breeding and traditional equestrian arts. The participation of the Moroccan Horse Exhibition Association in this event will serve as an opportunity to present a national pavilion, established in collaboration with equestrian equipment manufacturers, creating a genuine showcase of Moroccan artisanal and cultural heritage, highlighting the leading role of the association in this domain.

Annual participation in Fieracavalli represents a platform to celebrate the skills of Moroccan artisans engaged in saddle-making, embroidery, leatherwork, blacksmithing, and traditional jewelry, reaffirming Moroccan excellence in crafts and equestrian arts.

A strategic partnership has been signed between Veronafiere S.p.A, the exhibition organizer, and the Horse Exhibition Association. This partnership focuses on two main axes:

– Enhancing the organization of joint events that include equestrian, cultural, and economic exhibitions and occasions, aimed at solidifying cooperation between Morocco and Italy in the field of equestrianism.
– Developing exchange and training programs for professionals in the sector, including breeders, trainers, veterinarians, and artisans, to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance skills.

Morocco’s invitation as a guest of honor at the 2025 exhibition reflects international recognition of its distinguished standing in the equestrian world and affirms its determination to enhance its global presence and open new avenues for cooperation in this vital area.

The association was founded on May 20, 2008, based on royal instructions, and is chaired by Sharif Moulay Abdullah. Recognized as a public benefit organization since 2010, it focuses on organizing serious horse exhibitions, establishing cooperation and communication channels with governmental institutions, the private sector, and civil society, showcasing the national cultural heritage linked to equestrianism, and promoting professions and crafts related to horses.
