Morocco and Rwanda Strengthen Military Partnership During Visit of Rwandan Army Chief of Staff to Rabat

In accordance with the royal instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, General Mohammed Berrid received General Vincent Nyakarundi, Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Army, today, Tuesday, at the General Headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces in Rabat. General Nyakarundi is on a working visit to the Kingdom from November 10 to 14.

This visit is part of the implementation of the military cooperation agreement signed between the two parties in June 2025 in Rabat, covering various areas of collaboration in the military field.

During the meeting, General Nyakarundi expressed his satisfaction with the level of distinguished relations between the armed forces of the two countries, emphasizing that this visit represents a new milestone in strengthening partnership, exchanging expertise, and enhancing operational coordination between the two friendly armies.

At the conclusion of the discussions, both sides emphasized their shared commitment to continue the positive dynamics of their bilateral relations and to expand the horizons of cooperation, reinforcing a strong and exemplary military partnership between Morocco and Rwanda.

Moroccan-Rwandan relations are built on solid foundations that have strengthened since the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Kigali in 2016. These relations have undergone steady development towards a strategic partnership aimed at promoting development, security, and stability on the African continent.
