Casablanca to Host Three Major Exhibitions to Enhance Energy Transition in Africa

Casablanca is preparing to host three major exhibitions dedicated to electricity, electronics, and renewable energy from November 26 to 29, 2025. These exhibitions—Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo—are organized by the National Federation of Electricity, Electronics, and Renewable Energies (FENELEC).

Collectively, these events reinforce Morocco’s strategic position as an African hub for clean energy and its growing role in leading the transition towards sustainable development on the continent.

The 2025 edition will be held under the theme “Energy Storage and Smart Equipment: The Key to Future Electricity Networks,” highlighting the latest innovations reshaping the global energy landscape. This includes storage technologies, smart grids, connected systems, and digital solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency.

The exhibitions will take place at the International Exhibition Center of Casablanca (OFEC) and are organized under the supervision of the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Energy Transition, and Higher Education. The Czech Republic will be the guest of honor for this edition, reflecting Morocco’s openness to new European partnerships in innovation and energy technology.

Over four days, professionals, experts, and investors from inside and outside Morocco will meet in an interactive space that combines conferences, specialized seminars, business meetings, and technical presentations. These events aim to promote industrial partnerships, support applied research, and enhance innovation in value chains related to electricity and electronics.

The event is expected to attract around 10,000 professional visitors along with more than 200 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Germany, France, China, Turkey, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and Côte d’Ivoire. Delegations will showcase their latest solutions in the fields of electric vehicles, smart grids, digitalization, and energy efficiency.

These exhibitions come amid the dynamics of the national energy sector and align with royal directives aimed at consolidating Morocco’s leadership in renewable energy and establishing it as a strategic bridge between Africa and Europe. They also represent a practical embodiment of the goals of the national industrial strategy and the new development model, both of which place sustainability and innovation at the heart of economic development.

By organizing Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo 2025, FENELEC reaffirms its commitment to fostering a more efficient, innovative, and sustainable energy economy, transforming Casablanca into an African platform for energy intelligence and technological cooperation.
