Two Arrested in Tetouan with Over 26,000 Drug Pills and Drones for International Smuggling

On the evening of Wednesday, November 5, police forces in Tetouan, in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, seized a large quantity of narcotic pills and arrested two individuals aged 20 and 25, suspected of being linked to a criminal network specializing in international drug trafficking using drones.

A police statement indicated that the suspects were caught in possession of narcotics, leading to the discovery of 26,550 medical drug pills of various types during the search operation.

Additionally, 235 grams of cocaine were seized, along with 10 batteries intended for drones, which are believed to be used in drug smuggling operations across borders.

The suspects are currently undergoing judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, aimed at uncovering possible connections to the network and revealing all the criminal acts attributed to them.
