An Italian officiating crew has been assigned to manage the opening match of the Moroccan U-17 national team against Japan, part of the group stage of the 2025 World Cup in Qatar.

The match will be led by referee Andrea Colombo, assisted by Giuseppe Peruzzi as the first assistant referee and Giovanni Pacini as the second assistant referee. The fourth official will be Dutch referee Sander van der Eijk, with his compatriot Rens Blijmenk responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the game.

This encounter falls within Group B of the tournament, where coach Said Baha’s squad aims for a successful start to boost their chances of advancing to the knockout stage of the youth World Cup in Qatar.
