Akhannouch reviews the achievements of “Path of Accomplishments” in Tizza: Extensive social support, promising investments, and political messages for elected officials

On the morning of Sunday, November 30, the Tizza community hosted another station of the “Path of Accomplishments” program in the Fes-Meknes region, with a notable public attendance filling the venue prepared for the meeting. In his speech to the attendees, Aziz Akhannouch, president of the National Rally of Independents party, emphasized that the work accomplished in recent years “has been guided by the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” asserting that the results achieved “exceed expectations.”

Akhannouch reminded his party’s commitment to the citizens, stating that “Moroccans deserve more, for a Morocco of dignity that provides education for its children, social justice, and a better life for all.” He highlighted that the list of accomplishments “is greater than what those attacking the party can imagine,” noting that four million households today receive direct support, and an equal number have benefited from wage increases, in addition to enabling 72,000 families to own homes through a housing support program. He also mentioned the expansion of health coverage, improved economic indicators, and the tourism sector recording near 20 million visitors in just one year.

In the agricultural sector, the head of the party emphasized the significant importance of this sector in the Fes-Meknes region, affirming that olive production will reach one million tons this year with a decrease in prices, “all thanks to the support provided by His Majesty the King to farmers.” He also reviewed the project to expand the agricultural hub in Meknes over an area of 276 hectares, water management programs, and the completion of the Emtez dam project, which will create over 10,000 job opportunities and serve as a crucial support for small farmers, who he confirmed are a “priority” for the party.

Akhannouch addressed the solution to the drinking water problem in Tizza, noting that residents had suffered from water scarcity for years, highlighting that the connection to the resources of the Idriss I dam “has resolved the crisis definitively.” He described Fes as “the spiritual and scientific capital of Morocco,” and the third national university hub, indicating that the region is witnessing new training pathways and programs to support projects and innovation, providing youth with “a comprehensive network of opportunities to build their future as they wish.”

Regarding investment, Aziz Akhannouch revealed major industrial projects underway in the region, which will provide about 19,000 job opportunities, in addition to the expansion of tourism through new international flight routes to Fes, invigorating hotels, restaurants, and markets, creating thousands of jobs. On the health front, he mentioned progress in new hospitals and centers, including the Bensouda center, Ibn Hassan Hospital for mental illnesses, a specialized hospital in Meknes, and a proximity hospital in Tizza.

In conclusion, Akhannouch issued a direct message to his party’s elected officials, stating that citizens “demand more projects at a faster pace,” urging them to double their efforts “to demonstrate that the National Rally of Independents is the most capable team to continue building and fulfilling the aspirations of Moroccans.”
