On Tuesday in the city of Sefrou, the provincial governor Ibrahim Abouzeid supervised the launch of construction for the Abou Bakr Al-Razi High School, which is set to cost a total of 11 million dirhams and spans an area of about 7,289 square meters.

This institution, which is expected to open in the 2027-2028 academic year, will feature a total of 12 classrooms, a teachers’ lounge, and a meeting room, as well as administrative and health facilities, a library, two playgrounds, and changing rooms.

It is anticipated that this school will accommodate approximately 560 students in the shared branches and first and second year baccalaureate levels, staffed by 32 educational professionals and 5 administrative staff.

Additionally, Mr. Abouzeid and his accompanying delegation inaugurated two preschool classrooms at Sidi Ahmed Taddli School in the municipality of Sefrou.

The total cost of this significant project, benefiting around 80 students, is approximately 500,000 dirhams (250,000 dirhams for each unit).

These two classrooms will enhance the preschool educational offerings in the region, which currently includes about 210 classrooms.

In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency, the Regional Director of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports in Sefrou, Leila Ahmout, emphasized that the two projects inaugurated today will contribute to improving and expanding the educational offering in the Sefrou province.

She added that these initiatives aim to achieve equity in opportunities and provide a suitable and healthy environment for students, aligned with the strategic objectives of the 2022-2026 roadmap.

For his part, architect Mourad Aziz El Kahn noted that the Abou Bakr Al-Razi High School in Sefrou, overseen by the Regional Academy of Education and Training in the Fes-Meknes region, covers a total area of about 7,300 square meters and includes 14 classrooms.
