The General Directorate of National Security signed a partnership agreement with the French insurance consortium “ARGOS” to enhance technical cooperation in the recovery of stolen vehicles on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Rabat.
The agreement was signed by the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, and the Director General of the French Insurance Group, Benoit Leclerc.
The agreement includes establishing contact points and official communication channels between both parties to facilitate coordination on automotive theft cases and enable Moroccan security services to access ARGOS’s database, which contains technical data provided by automotive manufacturers, as well as digital tools to track stolen vehicles and identify their locations.
The agreement also stipulates the organization of training programs for national security personnel in the technical and scientific fields related to vehicle tracking and recovery.
This initiative is part of the General Directorate of National Security’s strategy to modernize forensic investigation tools and develop the infrastructure and technologies used in combating crime, thereby enhancing the capabilities of judicial police in facing new security challenges.
