The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, has awarded an exceptional promotion to two police officers in recognition of their significant sacrifices and high professional standards.
The first beneficiary, a former security guard with the Public Security Directorate, lost his life in a traffic accident immediately after the end of his official working hours. The second, an outstanding police inspector with the Fez Security Directorate, was deliberately injured when a drunk driver crashed into him after refusing to comply, resulting in serious head injuries.
As per this decision, the deceased officer has been promoted posthumously to the rank of Police Chief, while his injured colleague has been promoted to the rank of Police Officer. This promotion will be recorded in their professional files, and all administrative and financial measures related to this step will be taken for their benefit and that of their families.
Hammouchi also ordered condolences to be offered to the family of the deceased officer and tasked the social and health services of the National Security to support the families of both officers in providing necessary assistance.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security to honor its employees and recognize their sacrifices in protecting the nation and ensuring the safety of citizens.
