The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened Friday’s trading session on a positive note, driven by strong performance from the major listed companies. The main index, MASI, rose by 0.28% to reach 18,651.44 points, continuing the upward trend observed throughout the week.
The MASI.20 index, which includes the top twenty listed companies, recorded an increase of 0.41% to settle at 1,512.58 points, while the MASI.ESG index, which tracks the performance of companies committed to social and environmental responsibility, rose by 0.26% to 1,267.58 points.
In contrast, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, experienced a slight decline of 0.02%, closing at 1,868.41 points, reflecting relative stability in this sector.
