“Atlas Cubs” Face South Korea in Round of 16 at Youth World Cup
The Moroccan U-20 national team is preparing for a tough match against their South Korean counterparts in the Round of 16 of the World Cup for this age category. The game is set to take place next Thursday at the “El Teniente” Stadium in the city of Rancagua, Chile, located about 87 kilometers south of the capital, Santiago.
The “Atlas Cubs” secured their spot in this round after an impressive performance in the group stage, topping Group A with six points, ahead of Mexico, which finished second with five points. Spain came third with four points, while Brazil exited the tournament with only one point.
Meanwhile, the South Korean team earned their place in the knockout stage as one of the best third-placed teams following a strong competition in Group C.
