The Moroccan U20 national team, known as the “Atlas Lions,” is preparing to play its final group match in the U20 World Cup in Chile against the Mexican team on Saturday, October 4, at the Elías Figueroa Brander Stadium in Valparaíso, at 5 PM local time (9:00 PM Moroccan time).

Under the guidance of coach Mohammed Wahy, the team secured its place in the knockout stage after winning against Spain 2-0 and achieving an exciting victory over Brazil 2-1, which guarantees them the top spot in Group C.

The last match against Mexico is expected to see the participation of several players who have not had previous playing time, given that the match holds a relatively friendly nature for the Moroccan team. Meanwhile, the Mexican team will approach the game with great enthusiasm as they aim to secure their progression to the next round.

In another match within the same group, Spain and Brazil will face each other in Santiago at 8:00 PM local time, both seeking victory to claim the second qualification spot.
