The Olympique Safi football team arrived in Tunis on Wednesday evening, in preparation for their return match against the Tunisian stadium, part of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Hamadi Akari Stadium in Rades.
The Moroccan team received a warm welcome from officials at the Tunisian stadium, who greeted the Safi delegation with flowers, reflecting the deep friendly relations between the two clubs. Additionally, the Tunisian officials presented a commemorative jersey bearing the name of Olympique Safi president, Mohamed Hidaoui, in appreciation of the sporting brotherhood that characterizes the upcoming Maghreb encounter.
A brief meeting took place between officials from both teams at Tunis-Carthage Airport, focusing on organizational and administrative arrangements related to the match. Afterward, the Moroccan delegation proceeded to their accommodation on the outskirts of the capital, where they are expected to hold their final training sessions under the guidance of coach Hicham Dmiati.
Olympique Safi aims to confirm their superiority from the first leg, which ended in their favor with a score of 1-0, to secure their passage to the next round of the continental competition. Meanwhile, the Tunisian stadium seeks to leverage the advantages of home ground and fan support to turn the tide and achieve qualification.
