The Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency launched a series of small support projects on Monday in several villages within the Jerusalem Governorate, aimed at securing sustainable income sources for needy families, with the support of the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine.

The assistance will be distributed across various vital sectors, including livestock and cattle breeding, cheese and dairy production, confectionery manufacturing, as well as supplies for sewing, embroidery, beauty, and wedding services, in addition to equipped multi-use kiosks.

Inam Zaiter, the Acting Director of General Affairs in the Jerusalem Governorate, confirmed that these initiatives “come within the framework of supporting small and micro-projects as a means to enhance economic and social resilience.”

For his part, Dawood Al-Jahaline, Director of the Civil Peace Department in the governorate, expressed his appreciation for the “fruitful partnership between the Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency and the institutions of the city, whether official or civil.”

Beneficiaries of this initiative praised it as a valuable opportunity to own productive projects that serve as a real support to enhance their resilience and improve their families’ income.

In this context, Adel Qatmeera, who received equipment for events, stated that this support “will help me provide for my family of seven, and I am deeply thankful to our brothers in Morocco for their sincere stand with us.”
