In a symbolic gesture, students from various educational institutions in Agadir presented bouquets of flowers to National Security officers on Saturday, in appreciation for their significant role in serving citizens and ensuring their safety and security.

This initiative came at a sensitive time, coinciding with the launch of an awareness campaign against violence in several educational institutions, involving more than 30 local associations and coordinated with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports. This follows recent violent events in some areas of Morocco.

Organizers emphasized that honoring security personnel alongside the awareness campaign regarding the dangers of violence reflects a collective acknowledgment of the importance of fostering a culture of peace and rejecting violent behaviors in society. They highlighted that this initiative is a strong reaction to the chaos caused by vandals in certain regions, aiming to enhance security and reassurance within educational institutions and the community at large, while also valuing the efforts of security forces in protecting youth.
