Recklessness of Driver Causes Panic at Al-Firdaws Resort in Khouribga Amid Debate Over True Responsibility

Recklessness of Driver Causes Panic at Al-Firdaws Resort in Khouribga Amid Debate Over True Responsibility
A A

A reckless driver caused panic at the Paradise Resort in Khouribga yesterday evening, sparking a controversy over who is truly responsible.

Videos circulating on social media show the driver operating the vehicle at high speed and performing dangerous maneuvers near the edges of the resort while visitors watched in shock. Initial reports indicate that the driver’s actions angered some patrons of a nearby café, prompting a few to throw chairs and rocks at him in an attempt to stop him. However, this response led to the driver losing control, resulting in a serious accident. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, but the incident caused significant material damage to both the vehicle and nearby shops, as well as parked cars.

This incident raises questions about the real cause of the accident: Was it the driver’s recklessness and excessive speed, or did the violent reaction from some citizens exacerbate the situation?

While awaiting the results of the investigation by the relevant security authorities to determine liabilities, this incident serves as a warning about the dangers of reckless driving in tourist areas and highlights the need for rational behavior to avoid turning moments of leisure into disasters.
