Rabat: The Public Prosecution Office Explores Cooperation with the Iraqi Integrity Commission in Anti-Corruption Efforts

In an effort to enhance judicial cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Iraq, the Attorney General of the Court of Cassation and Head of the Public Prosecution Office, Mr. Hicham Blaoui, received Mr. Mohamed Ali Al-Lami, President of the Federal Integrity Commission of Iraq, and his accompanying delegation during an official working visit to Morocco on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

The purpose of this visit is to exchange experiences and expertise between the two institutions in the fields of combating corruption and promoting transparency and integrity, as well as to discuss ways to develop judicial cooperation mechanisms between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed various best practices and institutional experiences in the fight against corruption, emphasizing the importance of ongoing coordination and sharing of information and expertise among the bodies concerned with law enforcement and the protection of public funds.

At the conclusion of this meeting, both the Public Prosecution Office of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Iraqi Integrity Commission expressed their mutual desire to continue fruitful cooperation between the two institutions, contributing to the promotion of values of integrity and justice and reinforcing the rule of law, embodying a shared vision in combating various forms of corruption at both national and international levels.
