Moroccan Post Signs Partnership Agreement with the National Council of Notaries to Enhance Digital Transformation of the Profession
On Thursday, the Moroccan Post Group and the National Council of Notaries signed a framework partnership agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation in the digital transformation of the notarial profession. The signing ceremony took place at the Moroccan Post Museum in Rabat.
The agreement was signed by Amin Ibn Jalloun El Touimi, the General Director of the Moroccan Post Group, and Souleiman Edkhoul, the President of the National Council of Notaries, in the presence of representatives from both institutions and stakeholders in the digital and legal fields.
The agreement seeks to provide notaries with innovative digital solutions offered by the Moroccan Post Group as a state-approved provider of digital trust services. These solutions include electronic certificates, digital signatures, electronic timestamps, and electronic seals.
According to the joint statement from both parties, these tools aim to simplify and enhance the administrative and financial procedures related to the notarial profession while ensuring the legal reliability of electronic transactions, in line with the provisions of Law No. 43-20 regarding trust services for electronic transactions.
The agreement also includes the launch of a training and support program designed to enhance the digital skills of notaries and encourage them to make optimal use of digital tools and platforms. The two parties described this partnership as a reflection of their shared commitment to modernizing the profession and contributing to the digital transformation of the sector with an emphasis on accessibility, transparency, and security.
