Morocco Opens the Door for Fans from Four African Countries to Purchase “CAN 2025” Tickets Without Biometric Passports
In an exceptional measure reflecting the spirit of African openness and easing access for fans, the organizing committee of the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025” announced that citizens from four countries can purchase match tickets without the need for biometric passports. This new mechanism was launched on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:30 PM Morocco time.
The countries involved are Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa, and Zambia, whose citizens can now manually enter their information through the “Yalla” app to obtain a Fan ID, as well as the electronic visa or travel permit to Morocco (Visa/AM). This is a necessary step before purchasing match tickets from the official platform of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The organizing committee confirmed in a statement via the official Yalla app account that the Fan ID only allows its holder to purchase one ticket per match, indicating that the only approved sites are:
🔹 Official ticket site: https://tickets.cafonline.com
🔹 Fan ID site: https://www.yallamorocco.ma
The committee also warned fans against dealing with any unofficial sites or applications, deeming those platforms fraudulent and unrelated to the organization of the tournament, and urged supporters to exercise caution to ensure a safe experience.
To provide support and assistance, the committee has offered a customer service available 24/7 in three languages (Arabic, English, French) at the number (+212 5 30 30 20 30), in addition to a technical support email: [email protected].
The committee considered this measure indicative of the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to enhancing openness and continental cooperation while providing a seamless and safe experience for African football fans looking to attend this major continental event on Moroccan soil.
