Air Arabia Morocco Links Tangier and Rotterdam with Direct Flights Three Times a Week

Air Arabia Morocco, a leader in low-cost aviation in the kingdom, has launched a new direct flight connecting Tangier Ibn Battuta International Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport as part of its strategy to expand its international destination network and enhance air connectivity between Morocco and Europe.

The inaugural flight took off today, October 28, 2025, from Ibn Battuta Airport in Tangier at 3:10 PM, landing at Rotterdam Airport at 6:20 PM, marking the official launch of this new route that will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, using modern Airbus A320 aircraft.

This new route responds to the growing demand from the Moroccan community residing in the Netherlands, along with interest from European tourists and businesspeople active between the Mediterranean coasts. It aligns with Air Arabia Morocco’s strategic direction aimed at boosting air transport and supporting economic, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Morocco and the Netherlands.

The flight is expected to help shorten distances and enhance human and economic communication between the two cities, especially since Rotterdam is one of the most prominent modern European cities, known for its global port, innovative architecture, and upscale museums.

Air Arabia Morocco confirmed that the flights will follow a regular schedule that considers travelers’ needs in terms of timing, quality, and comfort, while maintaining competitive pricing that distinguishes the company’s services. Travelers are encouraged to book their tickets through the official website airarabia.com, the mobile application, call centers, or authorized travel agencies.

With this new route, Air Arabia Morocco strengthens the position of Tangier as a strategic hub within its international destination network, reinforcing its presence as a low-cost airline providing safe and comfortable travel solutions connecting Morocco to various European capitals and cities.
