INDH and UM6P Sign Partnership to Enhance Scientific Research and Public Policies for Human Development
The National Initiative for Human Development Coordination (CN-INDH) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) have signed a framework partnership agreement aimed at strengthening the connection between academic research and public policies for human development.
In a joint statement, the coordination and the university explained that this collaboration will contribute to the development of social engineering and applied scientific research on human development. It will focus on four main areas:
Training and Capacity Building: The university will implement programs in data science, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling to support decision-making within the National Initiative for Human Development programs.
Innovation and Research: This includes designing models for social engineering and developing social and solidarity economy entrepreneurship, along with assessing and publishing results scientifically.
Digital Tools and Platforms: The university will leverage its expertise in digital engineering to support the monitoring and execution of INDH programs, in addition to producing visual educational content related to human development.
Studies and Reports: Preparation of general and specialized studies that include foresight analyses and designing new intervention programs or models for the benefit of CN-INDH.
The statement noted that the partnership aims to integrate field experience and the local positioning of the initiative with the academic and technological expertise of the university, aiming to employ science and innovation to achieve tangible social impact and enhance the effectiveness and inclusivity of public policies.
