Hot Weather and Strong Winds on the Central Coasts This Thursday
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that today’s weather will see the formation of relatively dense low clouds, accompanied by local fog over the northern and central plains overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, as well as in the northwestern regions of the desert provinces.
Relatively hot weather is expected to persist in the extreme southern provinces and the southeastern region of the Kingdom, in addition to the Tadla and Rhamna plains, with somewhat strong gusts of wind along the central coasts stretching between Naciri and Safi.
As for the minimum temperatures, they will range between 7 and 12 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus, while temperatures will register between 20 and 26 degrees in the extreme southern provinces and between 14 and 20 degrees in other areas of the country.
During the day, temperatures will rise in most regions of the Kingdom, making the atmosphere lean towards hot, especially in the interior and southern areas.
Regarding the state of the sea, it will be calm to slightly agitated in the Mediterranean, and slightly agitated to rough along the Atlantic coast.
