Defense of Boudrika Requests Summons for Notary Who Accused Him of Absconding with 600 Million Centimes Check

Casablanca – The Court of Appeal in Casablanca witnessed a new session on Wednesday in the trial of Mohamed Boudrika, the former president of Raja Casablanca football club and former member of parliament for the National Rally of Independents, who is under arrest on charges of issuing bounced checks, fraud, forgery of a public document, and obtaining certificates from the public administration unlawfully.

During the session, Boudrika’s defense, consisting of five lawyers, requested that a well-known notary from Casablanca be summoned, who had previously accused their client of “cashing a check” worth 600 million centimes.

The defense noted that the notary failed to comply with the court’s order for the second consecutive time, despite being summoned in an earlier session. They urged the judicial panel to appoint a judicial officer to officially summon her to appear and provide her testimony before the court.

The court continues to examine the case, which is closely monitored by the sporting and legal community, given Boudrika’s significant position in the sports and political landscape.
