Barada Announces Opening of Senior Positions at the Ministry of National Education
The Ministry of National Education, Early Education, and Sports has announced the opening of applications for the position of Secretary General of the ministry, currently held by Hussein Qaddad in an interim capacity, following the dismissal of Younes Sahimi last March.
According to the ministerial decision issued by Mohamed Saad Barada, candidates must hold a university degree or one of the higher qualifications necessary for employment at the level of first-grade State Engineer or second-grade Administrator, in addition to a professional experience of no less than 15 years. Candidates should also have sufficient knowledge of public policies and national strategies implemented by the ministry and must have held a central administration management position or its equivalent for at least five years, whether in public administrations, local authorities, public institutions, or the private sector, both within Morocco and abroad.
The decision stipulates the establishment of a committee to evaluate applications and conduct selection interviews, in accordance with the established laws and regulations.
In a related framework, the ministry led by Barada is also opening applications for the position of Inspector General of Educational Affairs, based on the organic law No. 02.12 concerning appointments to senior positions, in addition to Decree No. 2.24.988 regarding the powers of the Minister of Education.
The ministry announced the opening of applications for the position of Director of the Center for Educational Guidance and Planning, requiring candidates to have at least four years of experience in training educational staff in training institutions, or coordinating central or regional inspections, or ten years of experience in inspection as inspectors of the highest grade.
