Arrest of a Drug Dealer in Casablanca with Over Six Thousand Hallucinogenic Pills
The elements of the Casablanca judicial police, in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, managed to arrest an individual suspected of involvement in the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychoactive substances on the evening of Thursday, October 9, 2025.
The suspect was apprehended in one of the city’s neighborhoods while caught in the act of distributing illegal substances. During the search of his residence, police discovered 6,150 medical narcotic pills of the type Rivotril.
Moreover, a check on the suspect revealed that he is under four national arrest warrants issued by the judicial police in Casablanca, Mohammedia, and Tangier, suspected of being linked to similar drug trafficking cases.
The suspect has been placed under judicial detention pending an investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office, aimed at determining the possible extensions of his criminal activity and uncovering all potential accomplices.
