Mohammed Abdennabaoui holds talks with Mauritanian Minister of Justice to enhance judicial cooperation
On Monday, October 20, 2025, Mohammed Abdennabaoui, the President of the Court of Cassation and the Chief Justice of the High Council of the Judiciary, held bilateral discussions at the Council’s headquarters in Rabat with Mohamed Ould Soueidate, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, who is on an official visit to Morocco with a high-level delegation.
This meeting took place within the framework of the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. The discussions covered areas of mutual cooperation, reflecting Morocco and Mauritania’s ambitions to develop their judicial and legal systems, enhance the exchange of expertise and best practices, particularly in the field of the digital transformation of the justice system, improve access to judicial services, and bring the judiciary closer to citizens.
The two sides also discussed recent developments in their respective judicial systems, focusing on prospects for joint cooperation in digital judicial projects that serve the common interests of both countries and enhance the quality of judicial services provided to citizens.
The meeting was attended by the Mauritanian Ambassador to Morocco and senior officials from the Ministry of Justice, while the Moroccan side included the Secretary-General of the High Council of the Judiciary and the Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs, alongside senior officials from the Council.
