The governor of Kelaa des Sraghna reveals an ambitious sports project
In a bold step towards enhancing sports infrastructure and boosting the prominence of the Kelaa des Sraghna region, Samir El Yazidi, the regional governor, hosted Ms. Bahia Benkhallouk, the Director General of Mosc Strategy, and Mr. Abderrahmane Al Adwi, a media figure and community activist, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the governor’s office. This meeting focused on a pioneering project, which consists of establishing a model sports city in the capital of the region.
This ambitious project aims to create a comprehensive sports facility that will host various amenities dedicated to the training and development of youth across different sports, with a particular emphasis on football. It seeks to provide local athletes with professional training conditions meeting national and international standards.
Furthermore, the project aspires to make the sports city a regional hub for athletic training, contributing to the discovery and refinement of emerging talents while opening avenues for participation in regional and national competitions.
During the meeting, the governor emphasized that this project aligns with the comprehensive developmental vision that the region aims to achieve by supporting youth-focused initiatives and encouraging sports practices as a catalyst for human and social development, and a means to instill values of citizenship, discipline, and excellence.
For her part, Ms. Bahia Benkhallouk expressed the readiness of Mosc Strategy to leverage its expertise and partners to bring this model project to fruition, asserting that the goal is to create a modern and sustainable sports environment that inspires youth to contribute and innovate.
