Yesterday’s generation meets today’s generation in a tribute ceremony at the Mohammed VI Complex

The Moroccan Royal Football Federation organized a tribute ceremony on Thursday in honor of a group of former international players belonging to the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra League, held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamoura.

The stars of yesterday received a warm welcome from current national team players and members of the technical staff, in a moment that bridged the past and present. The gathering served as an opportunity to share experiences and recall memories that have shaped a part of the history of national football, while reflecting the aspirations of today’s generation to continue writing new chapters and raising the Moroccan flag in international arenas.

This event comes as part of the federation’s initiatives aimed at honoring notable achievements after previous celebrations in cities like Oujda and Fez, where players from the regional leagues of the Eastern region and Fez-Meknes were celebrated.

The list of honorees included prominent names that have left their mark on national football, among them: Mohammed Timoumi, Hussein Amouta, Mourad Hadioud, Saad Dhahan, Mustafa Biyoudan, Abdel Fattah Boukhreis, Mohammed Chihani, Mohammed Boussati, Abdel Salam Ghreesi, Abdel Wahid Chmammi, Abdel Karim Hadrioui, and Abdel Razak Khiri, along with other figures who contributed to the prominence of Moroccan football.
