Hicham Ait Menna, the president of Wydad Athletic Club, confirmed that the ordinary general assembly held on Monday was conducted in an atmosphere of responsible and constructive discussion. He explained that the main point of discussion was related to the voting mechanism, before the club’s artistic and financial reports were unanimously approved.
In a press statement, Ait Menna indicated that the discussion also included the case of a member, where the vote for expulsion was on the table. However, the person concerned submitted their resignation, which was accepted, bringing the matter to an organized and amicable conclusion.
Regarding the club’s sports company, the president emphasized that the matter requires further discussion and a clear vision from the members, noting that a decision will be postponed to an extraordinary general assembly in the coming weeks, along with efforts to adopt a new internal regulation to ensure a clear and stable organizational framework.
This year’s general assembly was characterized by a spirit of responsibility and transparency from both the members and the management board, reflecting the club’s commitment to enhancing its stability and continuing administrative and financial reforms to ensure success on all fronts.
