Express TV: Mustafa Filali

Customs officials in Nador, in coordination with national security services, displayed high vigilance on Wednesday, succeeding in thwarting an attempt to smuggle 76,841 Ecstasy pills at the Port of Nador.

According to media reports, a routine inspection conducted by customs authorities uncovered the seized quantity, carefully hidden among baggage on a truck belonging to an international transport company. This reflects the attentiveness and precision of Moroccan national security in safeguarding borders and combating organized crime.

The judicial police have opened an investigation to identify those involved in this operation and dismantle any potential extensions of this criminal activity.

This operation highlights the ongoing coordination efforts between customs and national security services, aimed at enhancing border control and combating smuggling. Such measures confirm the commitment of Moroccan authorities to maintaining the security and safety of citizens while thwarting drug trafficking networks that seek to harm society.
