The Global Conference on Manufacturing 2025 Kicks Off with Morocco’s Participation to Strengthen Investment Partnerships

In a new step to enhance international economic and industrial partnerships, Morocco is participating in the Global Conference on Manufacturing 2025, which commenced today in Hefei, the capital of Anhui province in eastern China. The kingdom’s presence at this significant global event, running until September 23, reflects the royal directives aimed at solidifying Morocco’s position as an attractive investment destination and enhancing its role in the global industrial economy.

Representing Morocco at the conference is the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Integration, and Public Policy Evaluation, Karim Zidan, alongside more than 40 countries and regions, which include government officials, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and representatives from international organizations and trade associations.

The conference, organized with the support of the Chinese State Council, is themed “Smart Manufacturing: Building a Better Future.” It aims to create a strategic platform for exchanging experiences, encouraging structured investments, showcasing advancements in manufacturing, and signing agreements and joint projects that contribute to the development of global manufacturing based on win-win cooperation.

The Moroccan delegation’s program includes a series of meetings and visits to leading Chinese companies and factories, including Gotion High-tech, in addition to encounters with professional organizations from China and other participating countries. The agenda also encompasses meetings with regional officials from Anhui province and B2B sessions covering strategic sectors such as automotive manufacturing and food industries.

Morocco’s participation in this conference presents an opportunity to enhance international industrial cooperation, explore opportunities for productivity and innovation development in the industrial sector, and realize the royal vision that positions the kingdom as a competitive investment destination globally, focusing on creating robust and sustainable partnership environments.
